MEET PAIGE, OUR PRIMARY GAME LEAD!
Hey, I’m Paige. I am a nanny and the new founder of Side Quest. I started this company because I love video games and have been playing for as long as I can remember.
Being a nanny I see the new generation having the same interest as I did, but the internet has become a bigger, scarier place then it was back when I was a kid. I was introduced to a new problem where kids want to play online with friends, and parents don’t feel comfortable giving their kids access to the internet.
As I lean more into my business ventures I see more and more parents having the same worries: safety, screen time, and who their kids are talking to online. Side Quest is my way of solving that. A supervised, positive gaming space where kids can have fun and parents can feel at ease.

Hey I’m Chris! I am twenty-years old and a full time student, currently working towards a Bachelors of Media Art’s, to become a game design specialist. I am a huge video game nerd and I am super excited to be starting this project with my partner Paige!

How do you keep kids safe while gaming online?
We lead the kids through their choice of game, where we can see their chats and hear their mics. The Discord chats are only open to kids their age
Are chats and voice channels moderated?
Chat are monitored at all times as well as scheduled calls but any calls on the discord outside of hours are not monitored
What rules are in place to keep the community respectful?
We have zero tolerance for bullying. Side Quest is to have fun and make friends. If need be, we will talk with parents or remove people with no refund.
Do kids need their own Discord account to join?
Yes, all kids and parents must have a Discord to have access to Side Quest.
Can parents see what’s happening during sessions?
Yes, all parents have access to view discord channels that their child is in. We do ask that parents stay out of discord calls and chats that arent specific to parents
